Those Zoanthids are from local waters a few miles from here. I've been trying to find a match on the web, posted on many sites for months now and have come up with nothing. I dive/snorkel, and have hit most of the waters around here, and have yet to find them again.

Not sure what I would name them, but they are pretty spectacular. Best thing is that they don't shift color very much under different types of lighting. These pictured above are under T5's.

Beautiful zoas!! I love the fruit loops! Have been trying to get some around here for a while, but they are hard to come by.

I got the Fruit Loops just under 2 years ago.

While other Zoa's thrive and spread like wildfire, these are without a doubt the slowest growing Zoa's I have ever had.

I started with roughly 10 polyps, and may have 25-30 now. I've moved them around in the tank, high light/low light, high flow/low flow, etc. They seem happy in my tank on the sand bed, in ~200 par. Thats where they always stay open.

6 bulb T5's. Some pictures were taken with all bulbs on, and som with just the 2 "Dusk" bulbs.

Front to back:
ATI Blue Plus

It's actually too much light for this tank being only 21" tall. The par on the sand bed is ~200. I need to make a DIY Fixture suspension so that I can raise it up about 5-6", and then I can put my SPS back in the tank.

The SPS are in the QT (after the AEF issue), under a 14k Phoenix 150w Halide and at a par level of 90-125.

Anyone know what these are called? Haven't had the chance to peruse through Coralpedia.com yet, but thought I'd check here first, in case anyone knew offhand the name.
