New Zoanthids

I picked up some new zoas today from DPA. I promised myself that I wasn't going to spend money on zoas (because they never seem to do too well for me) but I had to jump on this colony.
I had never seen this variety before. It shares the same color pigments as the pink ricordea mushroom. And just like the ricordea, it has an extreme reaction to the blue/actinic light. I'm pretty happy with them. They make my other zoas look very dull and boring. |

My white balance is a little off but trust me... same pigment as a florida ricordea...

Not especially. I suppose they do have a blue/gray tint to them. It's really the pink that stands out. None of my other zoas flouresce under the actinics.

Nuclear Greens have a neon green center with a silver/grey skirt, and Radioactive Dragon Eyes have a bright green skirt with a green center. The Nuclear Greens are also palys and therefore are bigger than the Radioactive Dragon Eye zoanthids.

Ohhh I think urz are different Steedy - they've got a bit of a distinct center pattern as well
maybe a morph!!
