I will for sure. and..... I was wondering myself if the good pods made it through, then maybe the redbugs did also(they are a type of pod after all) i scraped the pods off the glass after watching them for a while, i didn't see any move, i think they might have been dead in their tracks, we'll see in the morning though, pods are always on the front glass when the lights come on........but, on a positive note, i've been staring all day and can't find a single red bug!

how is your polyp extension? when I did a single treatment, I saw a huge improvement in a matter of hours. I'm kind of talking out of my ass here, but I think they take about 3 weeks to hatch out of eggs? I have to believe that is why you need the multiple doses. I didn't see a single red bug for over 4 months with my single weak treatment. It's kind of scary how such a small volume of medicine can completely annihilate a hole poplulation of red bugs in minutes.

A couple days after the first treatment now....still no red bugs! and i have still been seeing copepods on my glass every morning, but no amphipods anywhere to bee seen. And definitely more polyp extension on the acros's that had them. Not a WOW moment, but noticeably more extension after the first 5 hrs, and a little more everyday. I never saw the polyps out on the bonsai like this since i had it . I should be doing a follow-up video later.
btw.. I didn't put the hermits back in the system the next day, like i've read that a lot do, i don't want to keep catching them over the next couple weeks of treatment, and i believe that would be an easy way to re-introduce them (redbugs) back into the water. And no negative affects have been seen on anything. This treatment seems to work like a charm, very easy and effective. |

Update.....Still no signs of any bugs after the 1st treatment.
And, I performed the 2nd treatment 2 days ago, same procedure. No negative affects again, but this time i haven't seen any pods on the glass since. Also my Queen conch hasn't moved after this treatment, but no other snails were affected, so maybe it was just a coincidence. Polyp extension just keeps improving, as well as color on the affected acro's. I plan on doing the 3rd and final dose next week just to be safe. |

That sucks about the conch. I wonder if it was the meds or something else?

i vote its time for the "smell test" on your conch, might as well get that smelly piece of poo outta there now, before the nitrate factory goes full circle.........
