This shroom has done this for about a year now and I am just wondering is there a reason he is doing it? (the large bubble)

I have no idea why it's ding it, but if it's been happening for a year I wouldn't be too worried about it.

I'm not sure why your mushroom is doing that but I have a Christmas chalice that does the same thing in spots.

That does look weird. If it was a new thing I would think maybe spawning, but for a year IDK but it would be nice to know.

I have a mushroom that does that too. Been like that for a long time and is still doing fine. I wouldnt worry about it.

That is weird. I have many difrfent types of shrooms and i have not seen this either. Does it come and go?

Seems like this is a "super inflated tissue" issue...I remember A.Calfo has written about that in his book...

I also had the same problem with my blastomussa, never recovered.

never recovered ie. you lost your blasto? or is it still super inflated?

Did not die...just kept like the photos, it was giving new polyps at the bottom, but they kept inflating.

I gave it to a store later...
