that is music to my ears i have about 2 feet that requires covering !.

mate on another topic i did some research on the phosphate issue. basically the medium you use and i use are much of a muchness. both work.

i double dosed , it will be interesting too see if there's a change in my parameters.

AHH yes, I use it from time to time, just watch the clams. They sometimes have bad reactions to it.

The phosban sometimes has iron in it and iron is a known trigger for pinched mantle.

basically your introducing aluminum oxides or iron oxides (depending upon the medium) to the tank which can have a poisoning effect in short.

Agreed, with clams pinched mantle can be present but just be sitting idle. It seems with the addition of iron this triggers the pm in to action.
