I have a stack of Visa gift cards of various denominations I got for Christmas. Unfortunately, every thing I wanted to use the money for is worth more than the value of each card. I was trying to buy a filter online and have them split the order into three payments so I could use my gift cards, but they wouldn't do it. So I'm looking for ideas of how to turn these cards into cash so I can just deposit the money in my bank. These cards are a complete PITA to use

Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah!!!!!
I figured it out. I went to petsolutions.com, and bought $250 worth of gift certificates using my Visa gift cards. Coolest thing though, for each $50 of gift certificate you buy with them, they comp you a free $10 gift certificate. So by doing this, I just made $50!!! I LOVE petsolutions!! |

lol Bill........me too!
They won't let you do that, can't use it anywhere that requires a PIN. I tried buying coins from the bank so I could redeposit them, but they won't let you buys coins with a debit card. I don't know what kind of debit card won't let you use a PIN??? Visa has a racket with these things. D, I've ordered live brine shrimp from them and they were really good. Shipped the order within a few hours of placing it and the packaging was really good. They seem to be pretty good at the customer service thing. I've ordered a lot of dry goods too and never had a complaint with them.

Went for the Eheim because it's supposed to be the best for what I need, and since this tank has been a disaster from day one, I'll not be cutting corners anymore. I want to make it a decent planted tank.

I think it's more like the store is obligated to use the card the way the credit card company wants.
