34 gal cube tank set up - Reef-Geeks

Well I'm just back into the hobby again, and I got a 22x24x14.5" acrylic cube from a fellow reefer for $75. I then received a bunch of my old gear back from my brother because he was just killing stuff and wanted out of the hobby. So I got back my skimmer ,sump , heater ,lighting fixture( complete with really bad bulbs), and some pumps. I went and got new sand for it because my brothers tank was so dirty I didn't want to put sand full of nutreints into a fresh tank. The live rock I got from him was infested with mini brittle stars. I had to do a week of fresh water dip on the rock and then blast with a garden hose to get all the build up of detris and crud out of the rock. So I set it up with a sump/refuge and a Esshop hang on back skimmer converted to a sump skimmer. I boosted the bio cycle with seachems Stability bacteria starter, and got a bunch of chateo full of pods from a freind. So now it's been up for about 3 weeks and doing good. have already gone through the cycles of brown to green algaes and now it's clearing up. I got a orange spot gobie and a tiger pistol shrim from my brother, I bought a couple purple Queen antheias ,6 line wrasse, and a snowflake clown. All livestocck is doing good and looking really healthy.

OK well heres some more pics of the tank as it gets going along. I really need some frags now. I was going to try to get some this weekend but paypal decieded to say I have to verify my bank account again. And won't even let me use the money I have in the account. I hate paypal, they always find a way to hold my money.

The pile of gravel and the trench in the front is from my tiger pistol shrimp and orange spot goby.

NO......I wish I could find a anemone that would stay small for my snowflake. Thought about a Sebae.

i hear the malu's stay small, although I have no idea where you would find one, or if they really do stay small.....

Actinia tenebrosa are pretty cool but they come from cooler water. Guess that doesn't help
