Sally's are vicious little monsters. My lfs has sale tank with a bunch of them and they completly dimolish anything they can get ahold of. I got a trap design for bristleworms, mantis and pistol shrimp but I doubt a sally would be able to get in there very easy.

For all practical purposes All true crabs are omnivorous. They may eat algae, they may eat dead stuff, they may eat live animals. It really just depends on what they're in the mood for, so let this be a warning to everyone!

If you can't catch it right now, start feeding it so it'll be less likely to attack anything.

If the trap doesnt work a good trick is to put some meat in a glass nd lean the glass up on a rock or something so the crab can crawl in but cant get back out.

well, bill, no go. he would not fit in. he tried and tried, but he's too big. but then he gave up and took the tiny tiny tiny pieces on the edge. and the snails got in

Paul did you try the glass trick that Chris suggested? I have done something similar to catch my Peppermint shrimp.

did not do that. fed the bstrd before reading it. will try that tomorrow, but i don't quite understand how i lean the glass up on a rock or something so the crab can crawl in but cant get back out is the glass real tall?
