I used to be so picky about keeping the glass spotless, but I have gotten so busy and lazy lately. I have not been cleaning it except when I want to take a picture, someone is coming over to see the tanks, or I can't see through it well enough. I am letting the xenia grow on the side glass so I won't have to clean it ever again.
