So far I have been happy with the communication with Bill. What really sucks is the solderless connectors were on backorder so I have yet to receive those, and the Heatsink is not here yet

. It has been 2 weeks already and I am sooo ready to start this build, it's been killing me. Fire do you think there is anything I could be working on in the meantime, while I wait on Heatsink and Connectors.

hah! yea. the pita part, figure out your layout of the colors.

whats your invoice number? im seeing him tomorrow, going frag shopping, and might have enough spares. I am helping tank build his light and waiting for the 11th before they hit stateside.

I think I pretty much have the layout in my mind already. 4 rows of 12, and just alternating cw:rb. I did a 1:1 for now and can always add more blue later if I think I need or want it. Order number is 3809. I appreciate the help!

The tank will not even be set up until I finish these lights. Or at least until I finish one side of it.

Hi, I'm not sold on LED's yet due to the actual spectral output as compared to 14k metal halide lamps... to that end, would you please explain and help me understand;

A) Your dates, what is 5-01, 2-07 (May 1st? Feb 7th, a year later?)
B) What LED's are you useing (manufacturer, power, wavelengths)
C) What power supply are you using?

Thank you in advance... as this is a learning site I'm sure you can help me.

All my components were bought from reefledlights where bill did research and utilized sanjay.s studies on MH and found a combination with his premium cree leds of specific batches that lines up spectrum with a 20k radium which has had great success in the reefer world.

I love the phoenix 14k so I did a 2 to 1 mix of blues to white. . I also added a high noon xpg kit for additional growth spectrum.
