Just discovered that I haven't planned the stand properly. Easily fixed, just need to go buy more wood. Won't be much progress for a few days :S

I think I would drill both of them in the back and find something else to make a sump I love the looks of those little tanks if you could find a way to make a sump or a deep sand bed refugium and hook them all up would be real cool.

I would like to do something like what this guy has done in terms of the overflow.

I was looking at ebay and saw that I could score a 35mm diamond hole saw for $12 brand new to my door. Might give the holes a go my self. 35mm will suit a 25mm bulk head yeh? How much would you think glass for overflow would be?

They said between 50-60 for it. I'm not really concerned about saving money because it won't be much, if any. Just wanting to try something different I guess.
Anyway, I came back today from a one week holiday to find my 2ft has crashed in the 43 degree day we had on Tue. Not happy. Everything is dead and the skimmer has overflowed ![]() Not sure what to do now. I haven't done anything yet but the rock and sand should be fine to use in the new tank. I'm tossing up whether to water change the tank and keep it cycled until the new system or dry out the rock and sand and start all over again with the new tank. What should I do?? Lucky I got a recent pic of it before it died. Got any after pic as well. Cheers Before: ![]() After: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
