Here's a great article about water changes (it's kinda long though).
I'm new to SW, but I lean to changing more rather than less and changing less water more frequently than more water less frequently. FWIW. |

thanks for the article I will have to take some time to read it. it is not as easy as getting a cup of tea and watching donkey's videos with the english rockers music. I still have all four tanks up. I think my mystery Wrasse and purple Tang had a clam snack while i was at work then out with friends. lucky enough I was able to move the other to safety. I did final purchase a tech 5, 6 bulb light that should be here this week. I did lose my tamerin Wrasse she swam up the wrong pipe is all i am going to say about that.
My Iphone keeps me cruisin Ebay for new tresaures that i need i just hope to find another really cool clam like the one i lost. he is the teal one of the two. the purple one was relocated with witsac and is doing fine.

eeek RIP clammie and tamarin wrasse
Really doubt your tang and wrasse ate your clam tho - it was probably sick and dieing - kinda the life of the sea, if its dead, recycle it as food ......... Good to move the others tho - who knows what caused the other one to go, don't want whatever it was do it again!
