TESTING INFORMATION!!!! Please! Tell us what we should be testing for, what kinds of kits to do the testing with and things that monitor the conditions. I was just going to start a thread asking about this.

Are you calling me sticky? Are you trying to get me stuck with a nickname?

lol,
There are many good brands of test kits and many not so good brands. Its hard to say "use this one" because that would be only my opinion and you should ask for many opinions. What you should be testing for is easy (in my opinion )At first you should test for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. These three will help you track how your nitrogen cycle is coming along. If everything was set up right from the start ammonia and nitrite shouldnt be any problem after a month. After that you want to start testing for Alk, Ca and Mg (if you want corals). Other then the ones already listed you only need to test for salinity and temp |

......sticky is a thread that's been "stickied" (like a post-it note) at the top of a forum for easy reference
