Well had this sitting around and figured I put it to use

Still little cloudy but getting better. Fired it up last night. Need a small heater and wanna change the light. Think gonna go with LED's has a small power compact right now but still has shimmer in the water .

Took sand out of the big tank and have extra live rock so should cycle in no time.

Sweet, I like the little tanks and don't think they are too hard as long as you go easy on the bioload. Heck I haven't changed the water on the 3g in about 6 months.

Be wary of the all in ones. I used a 'skilter' before. It was good for background noise, actually just noise.

I'd skip the skimmer on that little guy IMO, and just do water changes from your big tank on it.
