Eventually, I want the arch rock out of my nano, but I want to keep the clam. So, we'll have to carefully cut the bysal threads, to remove the clam from that rock, so we can remove the arch rock, but return the clam to my tank.
sounds like a ploy by michael to steal your clam and your rock hahahaha We know we can't trust him with corals

Hey, that was my rock, to begin with!! lol
She stole it from me! Now she doesn't like it...lol

However, I still have figured out how to fit that rock in the 200, with out the need to make some major changes. Well, there's one option, that I'm going to look at, tomorrow. It'd be a good treat, for the tang and foxface, anyway. They'd take a couple of days to clean up all that yummy algae.

As some of you may have heard, Michael actually cleaned the tanks the other day. So, I made him take pictures of my nano. He also needed to clear out some corals, from frag racks, in our 200, so added them to the nano. You'll notice, there's still some bubble algae and turf algae.

Obviously, it's time to add a few Emerald Crabs, to deal with the bubble algae!

We still haven't re-aquascaped. I still hate the arch rock, but love the clam, which is firmly attached to the arch rock. So, we'll have to figure out a way to deal with both issues, hopefully.

Ya know, in all the years we've had Emerald crabs, in most of our tanks, we've NEVER had an issue with them. I've read about people having issues, but we've never experienced it. I've also read about people having issues with them NOT helping with Bubble Algae, but they've always worked great, for us. In her tank, if a couple did start causing issues, they'd be easy enough to remove.

HAHA...Hey Now!! You're absolutely right...lol. Actually, as long as they do well, in her tank, they'll stay. The Sexy Shrimp, that we used to have, decimated her Zoanthids, but have since been removed. So, it's time to start trying more corals in her tank. I even put a couple SPS Sticks back in there. So far, we're really unhappy with the lighting though. Next bulb replacement will be a Phoenix 14K, unless we can find a good deal on a T5 fixture or LED fixture. The problem is, quality T5 bulbs, in 20" length are impossible to find. When we were in Seattle, for the Frag Swap, we were talking with Reef Koi and Cherry Corals, about LED systems. We are really wanting to try one, on her Nano.

Bubble algae - they come in dark green, light green, clear, red, whatever Don't pop them, its best to remove them manually, without popping the bubble, or they spread

The big ones are usually pretty easy to roll out - the tiny ones are a PITA
