all seem compliant to me - but what do you define as "dirty water"??

anything will die if its too dirty

Thats kind of a hard question to answer. All of what you listed will do well in clean water and i think saying dirty water is kind of confusing. I would build my stock list around water flow and lighting and still shoot for clean water

"Dirty water" is a term Ive seen applied to lps,and softies. Most of what Ive read states that softies dont thrive in sps water/conditions. Hence the dirty water notation. Ive read several articles about softies, specifically mushrooms and xenia, thriving with nitrate levels that sps wouldnt do well in. Im trying to make my stocking plan with like condition corals. I can always play with flow and lighting, to suite invidual corals, but this isnt going to be a zero nitrate, heavily skimmed, or algae srubbed pristine tank.

So other than the night time feeding of the tubastra and chili coral, and the xenia taking over my tank, anyone have any other suggestions for corals I should be looking into?

Zoas are on the list. I dont like the ricordia for some reason. Not sure why, I like the discosoma alot better. Frickin 5 million color options on the zoas.

Candy canes!! Neon ones like the ones in steedy's pic in this months contest! They add an incredible brightness and they like "dirty water" Oh and pocillopora! It's a very recessive coral so it won't take over your tank, but it fills in bald spots nicely when it spawns... which is pretty common! My 90 was a dirty water tank, no sump, a HOT skimmer and live rock and crushed coral. It was a beautiful tank!! And it did very well considering...

Here are some of the corals I kept...

Heres that pocillopora I mentioned...

But I also had a blue tort and an efflorescence that did great! Contrary to what everybody said was gonna happen! You can see them, the tort is the top right coral (looks purple) and the efflo is the top left, looks bowl-ish...
