Default Bubble Coral Life

To keep this short, how long has anyone been able to keep a Bubble Coral? I had one a few years ago and the one I presently have has been around for about four years.

I was such a beginner with the first one, I still kept it for several years. This one has been in my system for 4 years, it has three heads, but one is fading. The others haven't opened as before. Its in moderate flow, but all my reading recently says this may be the problem. I had to buy a new powerhead a couple of months ago, but its
in the same spot and has been growing a great deal over the years. Any thoughts?

Both of mine are up towards the surface and seem happy. One is under pretty good flow and the other is under very little flow. Mine are not branching both are from a single base.

Seems like flow isn't the problem. Do you feed them chunks of shrimp, etc.? I feed my corals and fish and there's always bits that go to the corals.

Yours look great. There's a picture of mine, the way it looked about a year ago in the LPS forum titled " Just a Bubble."

Thanks they open up pretty nice considering I don't pamper them at all. I have tried to feed them in the past but they won't hold any thing,so I don't even try anymore.

I'm trying to salvage this one. It was in trouble when I got it and has done so well until recently. Always hate losing one of my charges.

do you have any pics of the problem you're experiencing chef? also.......we just recently cleaned our powerheads and one bubble that was doing amazingly well for 6 months, is suddenly NOT a happy camper and it's ALL related to the new flow pattern resulting from just a cleaning ....so maybe the switch you made in powerhead is the culprit?
