hehe it won't take them long.... that red one in the first pic was just a 1 polyp cheapo frag a year ago

Seems to add about 1 head a month

Heres three we just got. They werent liking being in the 180 so we moved them to the frag tank for a little while.

GREAT idea! .......I absolutely LOVE the acans....so many different colors and sizes and shapes....they're now one of my fav corals!

ugh - polyp bail - ive lost a few to that too in my time.... its like once one goes, it just spreads to the others........

lost this whole colony to the "melties"

which then spread to this one - but I was able to save 5 or so polyps on it by aggressively fragging and throwing out any polyp that even began to look sick.....

hate to hear that. What excatly is polyp bail?

I'd like to know too icsd.......a little research tells me that due to some kind of stress polyps will bail out of their skeleton....usually an indication of something wrong in the tank..........what happened with yours Paul? and yours estanoche?

an entire head would start to wave in the flow, then just release from the skeleton, float around the dt , then another head did the same. pretty soon. i have 2 small colonies left,

Yes polyp bailout is when the flesh leaves the skeleton. If the flesh finds a better place it can still live but that dosent happen much in aquariums
