Quarentine time - Reef-Geeks

Lookin for just an idea is there a safe rule of thumb for quarenting a clam. The last one I kept in for a month but didn't change from the time entering till the time exiting. Want to get the newest one on display ASAP.

I would wait about two weeks and watch it thoroughly. If it looks fine the whole time then you should be fine to add it.

bill, i'd wait 10-14 days, look at it carefully, and then if it's ok, mail it to me.

Ive always tried to wait 4 weeks but it didnt always work out that way. Even at 4 weeks there is still no guarantee that its pest or disease free.
