Default Pom Pom crab

So far the Pom Pom crab is the longest living invert in my tank hands down! He is a hardy crab. He is over 2 years old so far. Nice anenomies on both claws and always has been. How long do these guys live?

Pompom's crack me up every time I see them in a store I don't know a single thing about them, but they are pretty nifty! Congrats on your healthy one. Great pics, too

Nice looking pom pom. I had one for about 8 months till it lost a fight with a falling rock.

that's a cute little booger. From everything I find it says several years. Not sure about an exact time frame.

very true. I read that they usually don't have the poms very long in aquariums. You must be doing something right!

When we bought him it had only one pom in its left claw. Two weeks later it had split and had another in the right! It molts regularly and will disapear for about a week when this happens. I wonder if it stashes the poms in a spot so it can molt? THings that make you go hmmmm.
