linckia frags?? - Reef-Geeks

I know Joanne post pics of her linckia star fish that shed a leg and was crawling up the glass but has anyone else had this??

I have a light red and a burgundy in my wife's tank and found a leg part crawling up the front of the glass. SO has anyone else had this happen?

Well I guess we are the master star keepers then. Funny I was looking at them and I don't see any missing legs must of happened a while ago.

Never kept them Bill. Just did a search on "asexual reproduction of linka starfish" and got a lot of hits so seams pretty common.
