Snail eggs/ snail control

Is back with a vengeance!

I recently ordered a clean up crew that was added to my tank about 3 weeks ago. I have have noticed around fifty translucent ovals filled with gold colored orbs on the inside on the tank walls, the live rock, and on the snails shells. I assume that they are snail eggs but can anyone confirm or deny this? I already have so man snails that it is no longer pleasing to the eye,
there is no way I want anymore in my tank! Does anyone know of any fish or inverts that would eat some of the smaller faster reproducing snails in my tank (such as the ceriths) and their eggs, but not completely wipe them out and not harm the larger nerite or fighting conch that I have. Im also open to chemicals if they were only toxic to the intended targets but I dont think that's sounds like a good idea. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I had the exact same experience with my nerite snail. Apparently it was so happy in my tank, because it laid its small oval eggs EVERYWHERE! All over the glass, the rocks, etc. What I did was use a scraper to get them off the walls. It seems to work well, and I've never had baby snails come from the eggs.

typically, the snail eggs you see won't grow up to be big snails
so ur safe!!as soon as you start getting your fish in there they will be eating those snails up in no-time.... don't worry, be happy!! Your snails are

Yeah I wouldn't do anything to get rid of the snails. They only live for so long and the eggs won't make it usually.
Have they started to gather up in the corners yet? I might need to order some more soon. Maybe we can do a swap. I'll send you some corals and you send me some snails. ![]() WHEN IS THE FISH COMING?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Pleasing to the eye or not, you can never have enough snails, the more the better. Although everyone is right they will most likely not hatch its really cool when they do.

My nerites lay(eggs) like crazy but I never have seen any baby nerites. The only baby snails I have seen are the nasarius in my tank. SO i dought you will have an issue with to many snails. Just the ugly egg sacks every where is the problem.
