Default Octopus vs Shrimp...who will win?

OK this video I found is somewhat disturbing to me...luckily the outcome is good so it's worth watching.

This video is from a Japanese game show that pits a giant shrimp against an octopus. And apparently there is a whole series of “Crustacean Deathmatches.”

lets see them try that with a spearer instead of a peacock. I bet it would win.

nope. it spear'd be attached to the octo and he'd be helpless to release. the spear has to impale and hold a dangerous or harmless meal so it can be eaten or unbtil it dies.octos can easily lose a whole arm and be fine. octopus wins 8 hands down. thems boys is hard to kill except by eating whole.

While I think it started out as a good cause, and generates a lot of awareness (much of which I'm grateful for), I do think that PETA goes a bit overboard sometimes...

Shame it wasn't a blue ring octo, then the guy holding it would have really know what pain was all about. It wouldn't have made it to the tank
