My Cuttlefish Video - Reef-Geeks

Found this on my computer of Alice the late Dwarf Cuttlefish. Notice the color and texture change she can do.

She could be white, black, yellow, brown and any shade/pattern in between. She's have different expressions like a white body with black eye circles (angry) totally white so she could blend in with the sand. It's really quite amazing the range of color they can do.

I'll probably get some in the future, but not for this tank.

Yep, they all can change color like that. but other species have varying things they can do. Pharaoh cuttlefish have blue stripes running down their tentacles and Oficinalis cuttlefish have full time stripes all over their body.

I'd really like to try firefly squid, they actually flash green in the dark, like a firefly.

Spiny that was a very cool video very cool how she would change colors. Didn't realize how small she actually was untill you see her up next to the floating thermometer.

Yea, its funny she looks so big at first until you see her in relation to other objects and the tank then she looks so small!
