we went to the frag swap at TFP last year - it was mobbed but a great time! were you there last year too?
I have had it about 6 months. They do not move much. Keep them away from your corals, because they will sting them. At night they come out of the tube a little further and day, and thats when stuff gets stung. Mine get some water flow which makes it so the food flow right into it. They should be feed to keep healthy. I have a pink one too.

Yes, I was at TFP last year and yes, it was a mobbed. It was my first and most of my stuff came from that day. I went to another in King of Prussia in June (I think) and got some more things. I like the idea of getting 10 frags for the price of a nice colony. In a year's time, you have 10 nice colonies.

I have picked up some more here and there. Mr. Coral is another great place to get some frags. Buy 13 at $10 each and get free shipping. How can you pass that up!

A buddy and I are doing this together. Currently we have a 75 set up as our grow out tank. We also have a 40 breeder that was the intended frag tank, but somehow the 75 got filled first. Oh well

He has a 120 for his main tank. We have noticed how different corals do better in each tank. For example, I cannot keep candy canes, but they thrive in his tank. Acros do great in mine. We use the same RO, and Kalk dosing, but he uses Instant Ocean, and I use Reef Crystals. He has 150W MH and 2 T5 Atinics. I have 4 T5's.

Similar systems, but things grow completely different.

IMO - it looks like its starting to grow a bit like a confusa - but, it could just be a capricornis trying to decide what is going to be the ideal angle to plate at

Only time will tell once there is actually a "colony" to really view the growth pattern from!!

This thing is already about 4" around. I have a confusa, see my "green thumb" frag in my avatar. This looks and grows nothing like it.

I guess we will see what it turns into. BTW, I will have a frag or two listed on fragswapper for the NCPARS Frag swap. I hope it have everything listed sometime this week.

Welcome, Nice setup. I saw the list of fish but oddly they are in none of the pics? Are they possibly on vacation? That is a very nice Clam, after having it in your tank are you considering one? Welcome to the site and please keep the pics coming.
