......we have several geeks here who breed clownfish...including me and chris&barb

.....IF you breed, how long have you been doing it and how often do you collect? are they ocellaris?

i only 'breed' them when I actually have time to wake up and see them hatch on hatch nights, so I don't actively do it.

I do have live rotifer culture going all the time & other things, so playing with a batch or two isn't an issue if I "feel like", but I am not what you call an active breeder.

that's how we are now too! ......in the beginning we HAD to collect every batch! at one point we had 5 rearing tanks in our basement and at that point is when I had to put my foot down!

it was so exciting initially but it's also a lot of work........so now we collect every now and then when we feel like it......better yet when it's convenient for us!

well we're glad to have you here......we'd love to see some pics of your tank(s) when you get a chance
