Anyone ever try these lights?

Nope, but looks interesting! may be good may be crap, probally would work well as a fresh water planted tank light!

Ive never used them. I think Billrob has used bulbs from ebay, 14k though i think. Maybe he can tell you if this is the same person.

rgrking heres the seller I got mine from but he sent me the 20k lights instead of 14k I ordered which I'm glad he did cause his 20k are a very solid 14-15k but not a 20k. I compaired them to a 20k radium bulb and it was alot bluer. There a nice light all the way around though. I've never tried the cheaper bulbs but you get what you pay for but a cheap alternative these are great and I ordered and paid and had them the next day.

Well I have some 14k ones from the seller I listed. Nice blue color but I've never checked the quality. My rics and other soft corals love them and I haven't had any strange algea outbreaks. I'm just thinking about a whiter bulb.

Yeah just not sure on the color temp you'll get with the cheaper bulb from china but the phoenix bulbs are made in Japan and there awesome
