Clowns - Reef-Geeks

If anyone is looking for some older healthy clowns and in the delaware area, lindsay and I have a family of 5 with a pair mixed in the bunch along with a pair in our sump. Pic's available upon request, just pm if interested

why are 'ya getting rid of them? and yes....I think pics would definitely be a plus in this thread!

and what type of clowns?

Both sets are occ. and mainly b/c I have run out of room and wanted to break some of the temporary tanks down.

(Not including these two sets of clowns we have: a pair of black occ, the pair of occ. we posted yesterday, a pair of WC perculas and our picassos, so we kinda ran out of room)

and I will have to get a better pic of the family of 5 but this is the most recent: (thats 4/5 w/o poppa)

All are very healthy and love to eat. In reality I really want them to have good homes so things are always negotiable but I feel thats fair

what about these LFS too: Fishman; East Coast Aquatics; Just Fish; Frazier Zoo; Hidden Reef...??? though none would even give you half of what you're asking

I prefer doing online just b/c I don't see a reason to get like.. 5 bucks for a clownfish that they will sell for 30-40 bucks... lol Esp. when these clowns mean a lot... They aren't babies or anything, we have had these guys for a while and want to make sure they go to healthy tanks, not any joe that thinks clowns are a fun toy to kill lol.

Also we are in no rush. The clowns are very healthy and I keep them well fed and happy, just want to clean up some of my tanks and get them a larger home

well then good for you! that's how we feel about ours...but when we have 100 or so we can't be that choosy...though we'd prefer that ours go to good homes too! kudos for sticking with principles!

once I start breeding, it will be a bit different b/c of sheer quantity but for now I'm fine with waiting for a person looking for clowns with great personality and that look great who are older
