Fishing Geek

I have had 2 hobbie's pretty much all my life , fish tanks and fishing .
Now i have downsized "a fancy word for either getting the arse from a job or making a few changes "

I have now only 1 fish tank , a 2ftx18'x18' freshwater shrimp tank in my shed out side Going rather well i might add .

But my other hobby has been fishing "for me nothing more relaxing than wetting a line " so i wanted a boat ,"the ministry of finance, AKA the Boss/wife"said no chance !

So i thought of a cheaper option and maybe, far more fun and excitement , having tried a kayak it was great ,good for my health and also fun.

So i did the right thing and bought one

And well, here it is

that is so awesome andrew! I've never seen a kayak like that before......looks like it was made for fishing AND kayaking....is that the case? have you tried it out yet??? and what does rheika think of it?

I have not tried it out just yet Barb , there are a few more things i wish to do with it first "add couple more rod holders and a few bits " , Rheika likes it i guess "LOL"To bad if she does not

The biggest fish i have ever caught was a marlin and it was 242 pounds

But i mainly fish for snapper "biggest 15 pound" , and whiting biggest 2.2 pound and gummy shark biggest 18 pound"

Wow, the biggest fish I've caught was maybe 1.5 pounds...we have small fish here.

That thing looks loaded with stuff. Are you taking this out in the ocean or bay ?

Damn- I've seen full fledged fishing boats that didn't have that many accessories on it!!!!

Both Chris , once i get a nice calm day "no wind" so i can get the true feel for it

LOL Bill , i have been night shifting for far too long , and working inside a bridge is not good either! you know mate, i found out an amazing thing , i had to have a blood test due to other reasons "all good " , but they told me , i have a vitamin D deficiency ,hence too much night shift and working in a bridge and i am not getting enough sun light.

I feel your pain, I go for months without seeing the sun at my job, have to take vitamin D supplements to keep from getting depressed.

so when 'ya getting the rest of your "add-ons"? and just when are you actually testing this bad boy out anyway? are you also going to secure a video camera on it so you can share the fun with us?

want me to talk to your boss for you? you NEED your day shifts back - - no more double/triple shifts either sweetie ......life's too short.........

Hey Babs , i had a crack at it yesterday I put the extra rod holders on it "yet to get a pic though " LOL you know me :P

I have a hero camera "they are great little things ,totally water proof " i did not use it yesterday ,as i wanted to try the kayak out , without looking like a total dumb $h!t LOL .

Still on night shift , not sure when it is going to finish , but i know one thing ,i need to win bloody lotto LOL
