A big tank.

Default A big tank.

I stumbled across this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWHSbu6kLwk

Which lead me to this thread.

A couple of quotes that made me laugh...

"I had to do it on a budget so it is not fancy like a public Aquarium"

"the glass panel was hinged allowing easy physical access to the aquarium to replace bulbs etc. via a rubber dinghy."

"Some of the fish bit the dinghy causing it too leak"

"I don't over feed and I do about 10,000 gallon water changes every week."

That's one big tank.....Some nice fish but would rather see a reef that big....Either way a sweet project for sure.

Wow, I couldn't fathom the maintenance on that!

10,000 gallons a week? Noway!

I'd totally go diving in that everyday

I'm assuming you glossed over the part that said some of those predatory fish weigh over 100 lbs and ate through a rubber boat attempting to eat a human.

WOW, that is huge. I agree though if you want to go that big why not have a reef.

Freshwater tanks are much easier to deal with in large volumes like that. Like one person could manage that whereas a team would be required to do a reef tank.

Pretty cool though.

I've still got my FW tank, and the fish are more interesting to interact with. But I too would do it as a reef tank. Maybe alot of work, but you could hold private tours to offset the cost of it.

Yes I agree with the tours, it would be cool to do indeed
