Friday Wrap-Up - Reef-Geeks

I'm not sure how this will go over but it's worth a shot. Come Friday I am both exhausted from the week and excited for the weekend. Often a lot has happened and I thought this might be a way to get a little off our chest.

I was thinking that come Friday whoever was interested could post one good thing and one not so good thing that happened during the week. You can be brief or in depth...just let it out!

Since I am starting the thread here is my good and not so good for this past week:

Good:
Got garden plot (community pea patch) so I can grow some of my own food. I love veggies and have been unable to grow any of my own as I live in an apartment. This will give me the chance to grow a few things of my own.

Not so Good:
The stifling heat! I know it is worse elsewhere but I still think it's too hot here. Having lived in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Oklahoma I know what worse is which is why I choose to live in the Northwest. You won't hear me complain about cold but I will moan over the heat.

I'm fixing to close up shop here. Got everything done, and working by myself tomorrow. I guess they trust me already.

Garden is great. Watered it once and then a good rain last night. Should be picking tomatos in the next couple weeks. My parents already have some and some extras

You can only guess where they are

Going to clean out my back room to make space for the tank I'm getting next week. Way to excited about that!!!!

Yum, fresh tomatoes are great! I am excited for you to get your 300g tank. I can't imagine a tank that big...hope it fits through your door

cool beans on the garden plot - I LOVE having our garden...already enjoyed some summer squash last night and looking forward to the tomatoes and eggplant in the next few weeks!

Good:
hmmmmmmm....good eh?......ummmmmmm........oh yeah, got my posts down to 500!!! (from nearly 3,000) this week!

Bad:
aside from the freakin' heat

, my refinance is still dragging on

and this tanky market is messin' with my numbers!!!!

Love squash and tomatoes! Some eggplant sounds good, especially eggplant Parmesan.

Well I have been on vacation this week, and have had my son for the whole week(uually only have him every other weekend).So thats good, and got a few new fish.
Only real bad thing os I'km thinking about sellign my RC airplanes and getting out of that hobby for awhile, just not sure. And people don't want to pay what your stuff is worth and flying buddy will be disapointed.

Heres a old vid of me flying a plane I may have to sell, its the maiden flight so not to fancy.

Great to hear you have been on vacation and spending time with your son! New fish are always fun too

Too bad about the planes, can be hard leaving behind something you enjoy. Resale of hobby items never seem to fetch what they are truly worth. I hope if you do decide to sell you get a fair price.

never work a whole Friday, extend that weekend its a west coast thing lol, things are picking up again, work coming in, product going out good good, T leaves on Monday morning ahhh, no Nancy,no Jane,no dancing with stars, no hiphop dance, no cnn,no hln or varied and hideous type of crap.

Bad, I have to work all weekend probably from daylight to dark in the hay fields...

lol from what I remember it's never cool out when you're doing hay. Stag beer even taste good when it's ice cold after working the hay fields.
