This is a huge event for my Ranger Community.

Best Ranger Competition

It starts tomorrow at 6am EST and runs till Sunday. This is a grueling event. The competitors will most likely get no sleep the entire time.

The winner in 96 was also the Instructor that I had to get into the Ranger Regiment. It takes a special person to compete in this. I know in our Regiment they spend 6 months to a year training for it. They usually broadcast the Competition on TV a few weeks or so later and the Winners are on David Letterman. Anyone Ranger Qualified in any of the Armed Forces can compete. I remember the first time SEALs competed.....they finished last

Wish these Men luck and keep an eye on it. It's a great show. I had the honor to watch some of the events in 96. Quite intense.

What station normally carries it? Sounds cool.

I know the Military Channel carries it, and there are others that run specials on it but not the entire competition.
