or... cardiovascular endangerment of an old reprobate
Teresa has been cracking the whip and supplying coffee, this area is about 400+ sq feet, right in front of where our new office is going so we get a patio and our 13 yr old Giant Schnauzer won't have to go up and down stairs anymore, last weekend I did the layout and elevations and started digging and posting, tonight I removed the last wheelbarrow of dirt so I can refill it with sand for the pavers, there will be some steel bamboo fencing and a couple of gates, then blow out a window and put in a door, after that Ill start the office stuff. heres a few work in progress pics, more later![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

woo hoo!
more Teresa projects!!! (and btw: she has a lot do with your amazing energy...I'm sure hers is contagious! .......tell her to keep it up! ) .....the patio is REALLY looking sweet steve ....I love how it connects with the wood deck area (and that looks interesting too - can we see a couple pics of that section - might give me a few more ideas for our deck ) ... I also love how you're incorporating those cool-looking trees...are they established enough that you won't have to worry about possible roots popping up? (that would totally suck )......also, it looks as though you're planning a bi-level patio? that would be cool to see too! ........great job so far steve .......oh yeah, and great job on the pics too my friend - you're getting really good at it!

wow your full of beans today Barbara lol! Teresa is an energy vampire, she's been bleeding me for decades! thats why she looks young and im an old hag,the old deck has been there for about 8 yrs? that a bing cherry in it and they are awesome, the patio tree is a Bartlet pear and its got really good pears tho the chop back may stop it this year, the farther tree is an apple, 2 grafts were done so 3 kinds of apples, have to see if T has more deck pics, thanks for the kind words, just dumped a 1/2 yard of sand in there and the other is still on the truck whew!

![]() Bentley is doing the same as he usually is... weather changes are the hardest on him...barometric pressure plays havoc on spinal fluid pressure so switching seasons is like having a demon on board. His medication has been increased until spring fully arrives then I can back it off a little bit. He's still the biggest sweetheart and lap hugger, no matter what. Massage helps him a lot, so he just sits on my lap when he can and gets massage like crazy. Rough life! So, is that patio done yet?
