The tank is doing good skinz. I have been a little preoccupied with training the file fish to eat.
The xenia you see in the tank are really Cespitularia. I think they are very similar corals. I do have some xenia in the tank, but it is a small patch and I don't think it was in any of the pictures. I will try and get some new photos up soon for everyone. My next additions will probably be a clam or two, but that is still at least a month away. |

I just updated the thread over in the fish geeks forum. The male is still not eating any thing I put in the tank, but he is chowing down on the coepods along with the sps frags. The female really likes LBS, FBS, and Rod's food. She is eating well for me. I would like to see them both gaining more weight, but I think they are simply maintaining. It is hard for me to tell seeing them everyday.
The tank is experiencing a resurgence of diatoms probably due to the large amount of food going in. I am trying to keep up with 10-20% wc every few days. The corals are all doing well and I am seeing some growth. here are some updated pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think the tank is looking great and i wouldnt worry much about diatoms right now. Are you vodka dosing this tank also?

No. I have been adding some MB7 bacteria to seed the tank, but haven't decided if I want to go the vodka route yet. I am not to worried about the algae right now just getting the fish eating well. |

Okay here are a few of the clams in the 95g. These are the best out of the 20 I took.
