Looking great Ellen, is this a Lepastrea or a tiny zoanthid colony?

I finally got a few new pics of the tank. I am stocking it slowly as I still need to get my qt. tank set up for the clams. I found a very sweet torch coral at my LFS on Sat.

Can you believe the nerve of this nass. snail?

Thanks all. Yep, it was stealing food. It doesn't matter if I throw in a little extra for them they still like to take it from the acan.

I am having a hard time deciding on a few fish for this tank. I want something different. It doesn't have to be rare or expensive, but interesting, and maybe a little challenging would be cool. I have thought about getting a pair of Oxymonacanthus longirostris (orange spotted file fish), and maybe a couple of pipe fish.

I would love to hear what you would do if this were your tank.

Thanks,

Ellen

I like tiny gobies. Pipefish would be cool. Wouldnt the file fish eat sps?

Yes, but I am not planning on adding any sps to this tank. I am just researching them as a possibility. They are a tough fish to get eating, but once on frozen food seem to be a hardy fish, based on my reseach thus far.

Great. Is he keeping them? I have been reading Matt Pedersen's thread on MOFIB forum. He has had good luck keeping and breeding these fish.

I am now seriously thinking about trying a pair in this tank.
