Geez you people are so demanding!!!

Pics as requested

"Glass half full" (oh it goes painfully slow)

Dart pump mounted with rubber feet to absorb any vibrations (best we could do around here)

rubber feets (we mounted them upside down for better stability)

Why I got a second Aquatronica Powerbar or "every electricians nightmare"

Wavy sea mounted (stuff in background is the RODI line and a clamp holding it in place)

Thats about it. It should really be more exciting than that. Oh I also glued most of my PVC together today. I'm incorporating some spa flex into the plumbing to help lessen the number of elbows. The word "flex" in spa flex is a bit of a joke, while it is bendable, its a bear to work with. I've heard using a heat gun on it makes it easier so I'll tackle that tomorrow.

As well the sump is off being drilled and should be ready Tuesday so I can get the whole system up and running then. Then its just check for leaks, fling some salt in and get some rock in there

Are you planning on leaving the back transparent so you see through to the other room?

Great looking build so far. It's going to look killer finished!

Nice work. Digging the step up. What kind of flow is that going to have? In case I missed it. What other pumps/powerheads?

Thanks!!

The back will have a removable piece of black fabric so when I don't want to see through, I can have it covered yet when I'm working on the tank from the back I can still see into it.

The tank will have a wavy sea return ~2200gph, the return pump is a Reeflo Dart, Tunze 6100, Tunze 6080, Tunze Wavebox and then I also have 2xTunze 6060s and a Tunze 6045. Basically an assortment of that. I'm not really sure how much flow the tank will need at various spots but I think a combination of the above should nail it. The 6045 will likely get crammed in the back forty to remove detritus on the bottom of the tank as its small size makes it very handy for that.

Looks great Christy, you can use a hair dryer to blow hot air into the hose to make it more pliable too.
