120 Jawfish/Mushroom tank

This tank is a standard 120 AGA tank w/ 2- 1" drains about 4" from the top 14" in from the side in the back. It will have a 5" sand bed and a platform in the back to raise the rock off of the bottom, to allow more floorspace for the colony of jawfish. The tank is being aquascaped with dried out bulk base rock. the rock has been cut up and has acrylic dowels placed through it to form platforms for the stationary inverts.

The first refugium connected to it will be a 29g w/ 2- 3/4" drains on the side. This tank will be next to the display, flush against the wall to hide the stuff behind the DT. It will house 1 or 2 large red mangroves growing out of it, a ton of codium macro, and maybe xenia. Mobile inhabitants to be determinedIt will have a plant light above the macro, and some type of LEDs on the tank itself. It will be on the same light cycle as the DT, and water from the DT will flow into it, then out to the sump.

The next fuge is a 55g. It will house ulva, gracilaria, a 4" sandbed, maybe some more xenia, and other species of macro. Mobile inhabitants yet to be determined. This water for this tank flows from the DT to the sump as well. 2- 3/4" drains placement to be determined. Reverse light cycle, this tank will be placed under the custom stand.

The last is a 40g breeder w/ an AGA megaflow wet/dry converted into a chaeto tumbler placed inside. The chaeto tumbler is fed by the DT and drains into the rest of the 40g, which is the sump.

You can see from the pics how they are induvidual stacks.

Ya cooking that's why its there. Im a doser also. Problem is it never makes it into the tank.....

Ill have already blasted them with water from the hose as I cut them. Ill soak em once the 120 gets here. Ordered it 4 weeks ago.... plus I have to pick my RODI unit and plumb it in. Ill have this tank up and running by Christmas at this rate lol. I cant spend too much at once right now, so Im picking 1 project per week. Next is to build the stand, which I have to wait for the tank to get here. After that will be installing the RODI unit, cutting the drain holes in the fuge tanks, and plumbing the tanks and selecting my return pump (pumps). I would have ordered the drill bit for the fuges this week , but we just got back from vacation, and had a bunch of money fly out the door this week due to unforseen stuff. I hate unforseen stuff!
