Hey Dave your way to kind you should drop by and have a look at the shed might change the attention to detail point in your post this is the second time I have taken the roof of and I have to lift the gutters (in my defense the instruction for constructing the shed are crap)

Ha ha ha what Chris is talking about is I have incorporated an Australian version of the euro bracing on the tank (refer to picture below) this came out of a dire necessity and a real construction fault in the traditional euro bracing.

You see with traditional euro bracing you have no where to put your beer and the cans and stubbies continuously fall into the tank (though the fish don't seem to mind to much)

Many a times Australians have cursed while trying to retrieve their fallen beers from there fish tanks so to make sure this did not happen to me I have incorporated triangles at the corners of the tank to allow the easy location of ones beer can or stubbie.

And that's why this type of bracing is called Aussie\Euro bracing

Hey All,

Woefully behind schedule (had to go back to work)

Tank is getting water tested this week and should be delivered next week sometime (god knows where I am going to put it).

Shed is finished just waiting for the polycarbonate to turn up.

Picture of the shed

Cheers

Cheers guys,

I will be hopefully getting the roller door fitted to the shed this weekend and the drain loop added and the supply from the outside water storage added.

The drain loop will be interesting I plan to have an outlet for water changes plumbed straight into it so simply opening a valve will facilitate a water change and I also plan to have the skimmer waste outlet plumbed straight into it.

If I could come up with a way to have the water from the water change clean the skimmer cup now that would truly be awesome.

I just changed pics it would have been my Peppermint Hog, Masuda's Hogfish (unfortunately he gave up the ghost after being a stable resident for several years).

I would believe so I don't have clams but he never bothered anything of mine reef wise.

Definitely not shrimp safe though I saw him once open his mouth wide and suck back a couple of peppermint shrimps I had just added.

I believe they are pretty expensive to purchase in the States though (pretty expensive here as well).
