yeah its true black and white. they arent selling it all those pictures i got of their display tank.

Thanks alot Ben, i use a canon 50D

and that lens was a 100m canon macro. no flash

thanks for the comments everyone, you know what i did add a dragon face pipefish a few weeks back but it actually died in a series of seizures so i beleive it may have been roughly handled (possibly caught with cyanide) or maybe just birth defect, because everything else is fine and water params checked out perfectly. bummer....

Alright so i have a confession to make..... i recently (yesterday) picked up a clam for the tank. i feel the tanks settled in its ways and everythings on track so i went ahead and got it early. though i should have waited another two months i feel that i have enough aquarium experience to know if something is going wrong and how to fix it.

anyhoo on to pix

still very pissed off

everything is growing like mad and here are some pix to show it.

in this first pic notice all the coraline algae, i started with one peice on the other side of the tank only a month and a half ago. the rest ot the tank was dead rock and now every single rock has coraline on it almost everywhere, at this rate the rocks will be covered in 3-4 more months!

next picture, i have a feeling this coral will be a weed, ive only had it for two weeks and when i bought it it only had one polyp and now it has 5

i didnt take pictures of my hammer coral but it only had one head a month ago and now its got three new heads sprouting from the base, all the zoanthids are spreading and growing like nuts as well. i wonder how much of that is from the DIY food i use and how much is maintaining high water quality?

i finally got a somewhat ok picture of this guy, still have no clue what it is though...
