New Tank??? 180 Gallon Reef Tank Build - Reef-Geeks

I'm fixing to go look at a 300 gallon tank. I'm not sure what day, but this week for sure. It's only $300 and I'm going to try to get it for less. Woo Hoo!!!! That would let me use my 100 gallon as a sump!

oh I know it. I'll prolly put 400W MH on it and I'm sure I'll need 3 or 4 to cover the tank.

I'M GETTING IT!!!!!!!!
It's going to take a lot of work to get it cleaned up. They have it as a FW tank now and just have been letting the water evaporate out of it. They are going to get all the rock out and drain it the rest of the way and I'll pick it up next Wed. Woo hoo!!!!

I figured me and 4 other guys going with me and the guy that lives there aught to be able to put it on the trailer and then I just need to get it in my back room. The GF wants to keep the 100gal in the living room. The new tank is 96"x30"x24". It's kinda big lol.

Oh I know. The tank weighs 1000 by itself. then the stand. I'm going to get some reenforcements for the floor. Stands and braces.

I am already impressed with the 300g and can not imagine 500g. I can't wait to see pictures of large tanks set up.
