I've had it a couple months. It's a porcelain crab. That's its home. I never see it anywhere else. It used to crawl up some rocks to the right, but now it just stays in that spot and feeds. It's cool to watch its sweepers gather food.

wow it's been a while since I updated this. Nothing has changed except tonight I replaced all the lighting with new bulbs. Wavepoint 12k and 460mn. I did 6 of each. It's a nice blue color now! Phone is charging so I can't take any pics. I really like my tank again lol.

The bulbs I was using were mainly just stock bulbs you would see in a warehouse. Well 6 of them were that, 6 were between 10k and 460. I've not seen this color since I had my 14k MH bulbs!

so....After years of having a deep sand bed, I now don't have one.

I've been doing some reading and apparently after a year and a half to two years your sand bed will be reduced by 50%!

I'm going to start ordering some more sugar sized sand. 60lbs at a time. I'm going to take a few months to add it all though.

Whats your flow in there? You still have Cyano growing in there, is that what I'm seeing?

a little, but it's not as bad as before. I have diatoms also. I don't have enough flow that's for sure. I may go back to a closed loop. I sure am going to have to upgrade the pump too. I have K4's and K1's all over also.

I've got the same length tank, I've got 4 powerheads in there rated at 8800gph. 2 @ 3200gph each and 2 @ 1200gph each.

That is awesome. My wife would fricken kill me though I have seen some 300s on craigslist over the past few months. My 75 is keeping me busy enough I guess.

Great job Glen, that thing will get better and better for years.

Thanks I sure hope so. I found a 2200 gph pump. It's 300 so it's going to be a save up and get item. I guess I can keep the sumps running like they are and just add that one for circulation.
