Blake's 120 Reef - Reef-Geeks

Here are some pics of my 120. It has mostly softies for now due to my high calcium. I used a bucket of instant ocean and it shot my calcium to 600. I lost most of me LPS. Now it is back to normal and I will begin to start restocking.

Anyway, it houses a blue tang, purple tang, spawning pair of percs, flame hawkfish, shrimp/goby pair, midas blenny, a pair of Bangaiis, a yellow coris wrasse, a diamond goby, fire shrimp, cleaner shrimp, and a pair of coral banded shrimp.

Thanks guys! The tank is about a year and a half old. On the right is a reef ball. Yes, it is man made. Eventually, I want to plant some zoanthids on it and let them cover it.

Very cool, did you make it yourself? I remember watching Dirty Jobs when Mike Rowe made reef balls...

Can you get some detailed pic's of how it is made?

Skinz, I didn't make it myself. I bought it at a fragswap. My midas blenny likes to hide in there.

Thanks! Yes, I love that guy too. My dad has had him for years. He bought it when it was the size of a quarter. He was in a 65 FOWLR before the upgrade so he's really happy now.

Thanks guys! They are pretty awesome aren't they Steve? The guy I work with has a similar one(I still like mine better LOL), but other than that, I've never seen one like this.

Those rock anems are very very pretty - especially the red ones

I had one for years - always a model citizen, and never walked around - just chilled where I dropped him in on day 1! Plus, their small size and non-cloning is really nice, much easier to scape for than a carpet or RBTA
