New leds
Hey guys just thought id let you know picked up my new led actinics today from the LFS here in the UK. I had the options between the TMC aqua rays or the Arcadia ECO LEDS. I chose the ECO LEDs marine blue. Have siloconed the catches to the back bit of my hood so can slide it forward easily Its still 5pm here so when dark and halide goes out will post some pics 4 you. Had it demoed on the display tank at the shop and looked rele good

Hey guys just wanted to say WOW. The tank looks incredible under the new leds. my corals have colours i never even knew they had, the zoos pop and so do the rics and true red mushrooms. Also all the LPS looks great too. Only problem is I cannot get and decent pictures of the colours, my digicam is just bringing everything really bluey purple doesnt do it justice. Any help on settings to capture actinic leds. I have a canon 8MP digital camera. Thanks

Trying to get such a deep blue is hard for camera's You have to find out how to adjust the white balance of the camera, turn just the blue lights on, place something thats white under the blue light and point the camera at it and then hit what ever button you need to to adjust it.
