Actually non of my tanks have sumps I grow the chaeto behind the rocks or in a cut where it blends in nicely... just cut back often and it does wonders for nutrient export
it will out-compete all unsightly algae and stave them out of your tanks!

PS. also i run all my tanks with TONSSSSS of live stock
im talking PACKED! like u guys would be like WTF is this guy thinking if u saw my tanks LOL
and i dont keep up with h2o changes
and i dont skim
what do i do? how do i do it?

I am actually pondering buying some sps frags from ya, I have to wait till the dust clears though as I just got put in the doghouse for the last order I did.

I am sure from the sounds of it you will have some chaeto left then and I promise I will get some.

this sale is ongoing

by feeding as little as possible and adding small amounts of Fe to my systems I am able to use the chaeto as a macroalgae scrubber in that it will outcompete with less-sightly algae and take up N, P and some DOC's out of the water column. POC's are still a problem, which is why i feed less and let the pods and other zoaplankton populations get nice and healthy -- this way they can clean up the tanks and provide a food source for my fishies and coral. so instead of getting flake food, the fish eat live plankton!

its is truly an ecosystem method of keeping aquaria!
