I used one of the bottles immediatly. The rest I split between two 5gal culture buckets. I used a 30 gallon rubbermade container filled it about half way and placed a heater in it and then set the two buckets in the container to keep them somewhat warm. My pod cultures are in the 50's. I figured if I wanted any decent growth rate I better warm up the rot's to atleast 70.

cool beans! you'll have 2 super dense cultures within a few days!!! so when's the next spawn?

I stopped by the store thats hosting a closed door sale for our local club. He was taking special requests and brought in some pipefish. He got in two REALLY small Yellow multibanded and 3 micro sized blue strips in. When I say micro I mean about the size of a molly. I promised him a frag of some purple death paly's to hold them until Saturday for me. I am selling a few really nice frags to a cluby and using that $$ to get the two yellow pipes. I had him feed them some cyclopeeze and they both where snicking them up. Im going to lightly clean up my scooter fry tank and use it as a QT for them. I figured its loaded with pods from feeding the fry and I can dump the eggs from the scooter spawns into the tank for them. That should help fatten them up nice and quick. Another cluby is bringing me some deworming meddication and this reminds me that I need to start hatching some brine.

do you still have some live fry in the fry tank?

I havnt seen my older scooter fry all day. I have a couple newly hatched prolarvae I might just leave the kreisel in and keep them seperate from the pipes.

I took a pic with my cell while I was there. I dont have a way to transfer the pic so I took a pic of the pic...its crummy quality.

I am getting both of the ones you see here.

you are just a maniac when it comes to pairing fish aren't you? this is too cool! I almost wish I didn't have a full and happy tank of fish already...might try some fun things like you!

I collected the spawn. Nothing new and exciting to take pics of.

I had to forfiet a couple of my nicest frags to gain the money.

I let this one go for $80..I paid $40 for just one polyp when I got it. My pic does it no justice.



I also did a 8 polyp frag of this for $40



In order to get the store owner to hold them for me I promised him a frag of purple death palys.

yay! another video! well it's about time D!!! ()...so what was that of your latest fry? and what was swimming around next to it...was it a rotifer? .... as always...way too cool!

It was a ciliate. This species is about 5-6 times smaller than a rotifer.

yeah I didn't think it was a rotifer...wasn't ugly enough and did look too small next to the fry...but was fun to watch any way
