So I was at my LFS last weekend and they had a pair of these cute little gobies. I knew they liked cooler water, but I wasn't sure how low. I couldn't pass them up so now they are sharing a tank with the file fish. They are very entertaining little guys.
I think my tank is about 3-7 degrees too warm depending on which source you believe. I have read claims that they can live up to 2 years so we will just have to see how they do. I am keeping them at 75 and for right now they are doing well. Gorgeous fish, but they come from the cool waters off California, I'd recommend setting up another tank.
