I've had the BTA exactly a year now. It has split once and is doing it again. Looking for a rose 1, but I just love the 1 I have. Was a gift from a person in a local club I'm part of. Oh the kitty has his sweet moments, but tends to think he is boss. Was a rescue from some kids who broke his tail in 4 places. Didn't intend on getting a cat but I hate animal abuse. After we got him he grew like a weed, and we discovered on top of breaking his tail he was under fed and about 3 months older than his size suggested.

I know right. The person who said it wasn't happy was buying some coral from me, and seemed like 1 of those I know more than I really do types. You know what I mean.

Oh I know, I've had him six months and he has almost doubled in size. Good reason to start planning a bigger tank.

I think you're gonna be surprised at how big that leather gets in a year too...but a happy surprise!

The clam wasn't a bad price under 40$. The leathers going in my kids tank as soon as it is up and cycled, but I think she'll get a nice coral she can use for trades latter down the raod. I don't know a whole lot about the leathers, seeing as that is the only 1 I've ever had in my tank. Not my taste, but I thought it would be a good first for her.

Okay I have new corals and new pics.

First an update on the unhappy clam. It has put almost an inch on the shell since I got him. !/2 of that in the last three months

Bubble tip ready to split, any day now......
