We drastically cut back on livestock and now only have chickens, turkeys, moos, dairy goats, zebu, rabbits and grow-out pigs, 2 Great Pyranees Livestock Guardian Dogs oh, and a cranky QuarterHorse Paint gelding for outdoor critters. 2 spoiled house dogs, 5 spoiled rotten cats, Finches, Budgies, a Maroon Bellied Conure and a few tanks- no big ones though. We almost qualify for a zoo status here. Just go coast-hopping to SC. Whomever said your Clam was unhappy, doesn't know diddle about Clams. Great pics! Thanks for sharing them. |

The person who said he was not happy was a soft coral guy. Not that there is anything wrong w/ softies (love them), but if that's what you keep don't act like your keeping everything else in the ocean. And I'm still jealous of the farm defiantly the QUARTER HORSE. WOW can I ride and jump. Just no place to keep 1. I guess I have a zoo of my own, 2 kids hitting teenage years a old rotti dog, a cat who's just an A$$ in every way (don't dare be late w/ his dinner) and a hubby who could register for high school at times ( good for him he's supper cute and plays a guitar). Just not the zoo I wanted to set up, oh and can't forget the tanks, 1 40B, 1 20long and the soon to be 55 predator tank. Tell you what I'll trade you the spoiled cat for the quarter horse and you can have 6 spoiled rotten cats LOL.

The only jumping that Cisco is ever gonna do is into his feed bucket. And he only knows Western disciplines, no English. There are times I'd trade that bugger for a rabid hamster, but I do love him. And I need SIX cats like I need birth control ( plumbing is removed ). Partner's Granny dumped her perpetually p8ssd off Russian Blue here last year and Partner found a 4 1/2 week old sick kitten in the road 4 months ago. That is how we got to 5 cats in the first place.
Yeah softies are awesome critters! That was all I had for many years in the way of corals. My Clam is a happy fella- well, I never asked it, but it keeps growing and glowing. Filter feeders are insanely easiest group of all with good water params, correct lighting & appropriate foodstuffs. But then, EVERY water critter is insanely happy with those requirements fulfilled. |
