i don't think she appreciated her month of torture either... when I let her out all she did was cruise the tank as fast as possible and eat as many pods/flatworms/whatever she could find...

she is only just now taking a moment to "smell the flowers" hahaha

So, new updates...

The baby wrasse has me quite worried, so I have her relegated to a small QT tank inside the tank to fatten her up, and heal her up...

She has some nice wounds on her side from shipping - and has gotten quite skinny

What caused my concern was she would come out during my "dawn" timing of my lights, but once my lights turned on 100% she would disappear and hide. I have no idea.. I watched her one day to see if she was getting chased or anything, and it didn't seem like it at all.

the first day in her little cup she hid when teh lights came on, but then came back out a half hour or so later once she realized it was "safe" ... i think??

But, she is eating mysis, so, im going to continue feeding her in this little cup until her wounds heal and then re-release her.. maybe her wounds had her paranoid about being out and about?? She would have literally starved to death if she had continued to hide in the sand 23 hours a day, so this is better than nothing!

are you adding anything to the tank to help heal it? Worst case maybe add vitamin C or some selcon to the food.
