Ok here are the fish I'm thinking of housing...
Naso tang male porcupine puffer clown trigger and maybe a niger trigger or lionfish all of these fish will be smaller than the naso tang What do all of you think? I have good vibes I can make these fish love each other. |

The puffer and clown will (not might) nip the other fish. The niger might nip too. The only way for them to tolerate each other's presence would be if they're going into a 20,000 gallon tank. The lion and the tang would probably do reasonably ok together, but the tang will get stung from time to time.

tedio, no harm meant but the Tang is the only reasonable fish on your list for a coral containing set up, the puffer and triggers teeth always need trimming so they chew at rock, the lionfish will eat anything that can fit in its mouth

I'm not sure where all of you are getting reef from? This tank will have NO CORAL. So I guess all of your input and jokes from some are actually garbage.
Before commentating and tearing my list up, you should have asked what type of tank. |

tedio, this IS a REEF site ie. REEF GEEKS? obviously we assume your doing a reef tank with corals? the advise presented to you was given based on this fact not on your lack of information, nobody here is going to offer you bad advise or rip on you, as the old computer programmers would say "garbage in... garbage out" now if you go back and read what was posted with this information in mind you may understand how (so what you are saying is the only fish on the list that is questionable is the tang. correct? ) is easily understood as a satirical comment?

wow....this was not my intention tedio........I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding........my response was based on spiny's comment describing ALL of the other fish as not being reef-safe and the tang being the only reef-safe - - meaning coral damage....so your response immediately after contradicting spiny's comment seemed like an intentional dig to me........I apologize again for the misunderstanding.
we're here to help, not bash.....IF you're not going to house any corals and just have fish in the tank, then while you still may have territorial issues, you should also have a pretty unique and interesting fish environment....you'll need to make sure that you have separate "homes" with the rock formation.
